Naginata is practiced primarily through the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana Kendo-Naginata club dojo, though we occassionally have seminars off campus and summer practice at the Yamakaze Dojo in Decatur, Illinois. Unfortunately, UIUC facilities are only open to UIUC students and staff or to those sponsered by a UIUC student or staff member.

When and Where: Weekly, during the fall and spring semesters on the UIUC campus. Times and locations chnage from semester to semester, so check the club website for current information during the academic year or e-mail Johanna Weber at weber_johanna@yahoo.com for more information.

Cost: Practice through the UIUC Kendo-Naginata is $10 per semester for UIUC students and rec center members, plus $7 annually as an insurance fee. Others must pay an additional $7 per practice for entry to campus facilities.
